  • EPG attorneys have drafted thousands of patent applications in a wide range of technology spaces including computer hardware, robotic systems, semiconductor devices, fiber and optical devices, electrical circuit design, e-commerce, networking, software applications including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning and many other mechanical and chemical fields including medical devices, consumer devices, and industrial and manufacturing processes and tooling.

  • EPG attorneys have prosecuted to issuance thousands of patent applications pending before the United State Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). EPG attorneys can be trusted to prepare  office action responses with or without direct involvement of the client. EPG attorneys draft  claim amendments and arguments tailored to each client’s priorities, such as minimizing prosecution history estoppel, minimizing time to issuance, and/or maximizing claim breadth.

  • EPG attorneys can efficiently analyze patent portfolios to report out strengths and weaknesses. Competitive portfolio analysis data may be applied in targeted patent claiming to better ensure a client covers trends in a technology space and not just their own products or services within that space. Portfolio analysis may also be leveraged to prune a patent portfolio for cost reduction.

  • EPG attorneys maintain relationships with international patent law firms and together have prosecuted thousands of patent applications to issuance in many jurisdictions including, but not limited to, Australia, China, the European Union, Germany, India, Japan and South Korea. EPG attorneys can be a liaison between corporate counsel and various patent law firms in other jurisdictions to respond, with or without client involvement, in a manner that is consistent across all jurisdictions.

  • EPG attorneys can assist clients with many other patent-related matters, including drafting Freedom to Operate Opinions and Non-Infringement Opinions, and supporting a client’s Patent Licensing and Litigation efforts.
